Roofing Bee/Dumpling party.....

The goal of the San Diego weekend was for Gerry and his 4 brothers to re-roof his new, older home in Ocean Side.   With a setback of a worker not showing up to take off old shingles and a second set who simply were "done working" before the job was finished, numerous trips for supplies and heavy winds on Monday, the project was about 2/3 done when the brothers had to leave on Tuesday.

Tuesday Angie and Gram G rode the Coaster to Old Town for a sunny, though chilly, tourist afternoon.

This has been a good 7 San Diego days in the life of Grandma G.
