Well, Gentlemen,  did we take a wrong turn somewhere?  How did we end up at the Arctic Circle?  Where's the red rock that we are so fond of?  We need to ponder this...... 
                                               

 The progress of a "once in 5 years" event.....snow "storm"

 

I was able to stay inside, cook a pot of chili and warmly reminisce of former days and why I moved out here.  The fortunate part is that this Arctic storm will be melted away by Tuesday at the latest.  I hear that such weather patterns last 5-7 months "back east" in Wisconsin.    

     This epic  event continues through the weekend.  It did cause a lot of car accidents the past few days.  Even now at 11:30 PM there are traffic jams on Interstate 5 in central Oregon.

This has been a good 2 " snow storm days" in the life of Grandma G.
