Transition time.....

The adrenalin rush of summer travel is wearing off and I need to settle into routine life. SIGH. That would be fine if I had "routine" all figured out.  I don't.  There are boxes from moving still packed, tons of paperwork to sort out, an income to find,  forming the habit of keeping the house in order.  The catch is, Grandma G tends to sit around and watch TV if she's home alone all day.
I actually didn't have to worry about low adrenalin on Tuesday since all morning I anticipated the drive to and the appointment at the endodontist in the afternoon.  (Especially since a car trip on Sunday afternoon was to a loud screeching noise coming from the front of the car.  Fortunately, it must have come from a stone in the wheel cause it eventually stopped.)
The consult went well and both the doctor and I determined that the needed procedure is "manageable".  So in 2 weeks I will go back for a redo of an old root canal.  But it will be manageable.
Close to home I decided to stop at a nursery to check out their trees, plants and flowers.  A perfect way to sooth one's nerves after an endodontic session. I bought 2 rose bushes to plant.  When I asked the lady when is the best time to plant she looked a little confused.  Well, anytime of the year, though you shouldn't plant when the sun is hot.  (I'm not in Wisconsin anymore when the planting season is for 3 months in late spring and early summer.)

Wednesday was a challenge day.  I looked forward to having a day when I would have all day to do a bunch of paperwork.  By mid afternoon that was all quite boring and frustrating.  Trying to figure out dental insurance is time consuming and confusing.  Time to sit and watch TV for a big portion of the afternoon.  Trouble is the after effects is like having eaten an overload of junk food.
Tomorrow will be a well disciplined and productive day.   Yes, it will.

THE END......(FOR NOW)

This has been a good 2 "transition time" days in the life of Grandma G.
