Shifting Seasons...

These past several weeks have been busy with a plethera of activities!!
Enjoy a few autumn foliage pics!

I have a small back area that I've been trying cultivate into a pleasant yard.  For several years I had a ground cover of small sized New Zealand Brass Buttons.  The last few years moss has formed from the wet winters.  I dumped a bunch of moss killer and killed all the brass buttons as well.  What to do?  What to do?  The idea of artificial grass popped into my head.  Found some for 60% off on line and ordered a chunk.  After spraying weed killer (homemade environmental friendly) to frustrate new growth Zach helped me roll out and place the grass carpet.  The finishing touches for ambiance remains to be done, but I am eager to see how my "lawn" survives the winter.

He also played yard maintenance man to help prepare for the rainy season,

My front and side deck was totally rebuilt the past two weeks

I recently enjoyed a 2 day visit with a young friend from nothern Wisconsin.  She has never seen the PNW.

REFLECTIONS

Our area has been hit with wild fire smoke the past several days.  I am presently at the PNX airport waiting for a flight to....?  You'll have to check back.
These past weeks have been busy and varied for me. It is getting more challenging to keep up and involved with life.  But I determine it is better for me to have too much to do and not get it all done than to wander off into outspace watching too much Star Trek and LOTR.

This has been a good 3 GeoGram weeks in the life of Grandma G.
