Time to fly out of Portland once again! Where is she going this time??
Columbia River....
Vancouver Lake...
What's this I see amid the snowy mountains of mid Oregon?
Why its...
its....
its,
Crater Lake!
That's why I sat on the right side of the plane in a window seat! Just in case! In case we flew over it and the sky was clear of clouds!! We weren't high enough to get a complete view, but very close! I was disappointed the pilot didn't bother to announce the sight. But I was watching for it!! Contented Gram G.
Mt. Shasta? We must be flying into California.
How do they get those lines so straight??
Solar panel farm....
Lay over in Sacramento. Didn't realize until then that it is the capital of California....
It's the Coronado Bridge, Baby!! This must be San Diego! My Angie there to meet me.....Yaeh!
Princess Berklee time!!
Bill took 2 days off work. On Thursday it was a hot sun, chilly air 1 mile walk to dog beach for some surf time, "puppy" watching and sand burying 19 small princesses.
I had just asked Bill if he ever finds sand dollars when I came upon a small one.Pelican patrol checking us....on the walk home a kind man bought us each an ice cream treat!!
Lights from "big daddy" 747 flight to London passing low over Bill and Amanda's house!
A Passover full moon!

Friday late morning we left San Diego to drive to Pasadena....after a stop at In N Out burger. A long drive through heavy traffic for start of Easter weekend, slowed down by 2 accidents and mysterious roadside fire.
All 7 Schmidt sibling families and Gram G gathered in Pasadena for a special occasion Sat. March 31! 4 families traveled at various times from Wisconsin, 1 family and Gram G flew down from Vancouver and 2 families drove up from San Diego! There were only 5 out of 36 family members not present.
Mom and daughters,
Angie and Debbie!!
Grandma G and her grandkids.....with a kiss...
You all come back soon for more California adventures!
This has been a good 14 family time days in the life of Grandma G.
"May the Lord bless you from Zion; may you see the prosperity of Jerusalem all your life. May you live to see your children's children--peace be on Israel." (Psalm 128:5-6)
