The Grotto in Portland, Oregon.....Post Views....16,308

It's been a busy 8 days for me and my guest.   I will try to catch up on the news in the next few days.    I hope all my blog fans are still with me!!  Thanks for your patience......

On Saturday, grandson Zach took us for a sightseeing drive in Portland, mostly to the Grotto.  The day was a little chilly so we didn't walk through the gardens. (It IS winter here, even in PNW.)

A great man and his wheelchair, while he collects his thoughts and ponders all the great things he's done with his life! He does this As he finds his own calm and peaceful place. This is exactly what greatness looks like! The man himself! I had such a blast being able to take him and Geo out today and to be able to show him all the great things that this area has to offer! I am so blessed to be able to call you my grandpa! You are the man Big Lou!
The coolest grandparents any one could ask for! Thanks for being My partners in crime for the day! Next time Ashleigh said that she Will be joining all the fun! Such a beautiful and totally awesome day of adventuring around Portland! I could hardly keep up with these two as we went from the Grotto to the Stark Street bridge to Rocky Butte to Downtown Portland to the St. John's Bridge then finally back to Washington! Ashleigh really wanted to join us for our day of exploring today but unfortunately had to work! I have a feeling that She will join us for round two of exploring Portland with Big Lou and Grandma Geo!

This was a good "one of eight" days in the life of Grandma G.
