Gram G had a busy day, also....

a Sternwheeler cruise on the Columbia River....
that included going through "locks" to a lower flowing river.

Friend, Nancy, and
Saint Gram G basking in
heavenly glow....

Nancy and I had been looking forward to this trip for several weeks...and taking tons of scenic photos....however, I forgot my camera....Nancy had hers all ready to go.....except she hadn't charged the battery...I got a few pictures with my phone camera before the battery gave out.....we later figured out how to take pics on Nancy's older phone....took lots with hers....now she has to take it to her phone provider to find out how to transfer them to other places...
Hopefully next week there will be those scenic photos we looked forward to....

Bridge of the Gods across the Columbia River...

This has been a good "day of firsts" day in the life of Grandma G.

"May the Lord bless you from Zion all the days of your life; may you see the prosperity of Jerusalem, and may you live to see your children's children. Peace be upon Israel."  (Psalms 128:5 & 6)
