Clan Life Update.... Post Views, 27,310

Gram G is settling into the "rainy season" here in VC.  It's wet, BUT it is NOT snow....
Yet it makes me want to stay inside my cozy house more.  I do venture out when the sun beckons.
This is a good time to catch up on a bit of GeoLou Schmidt Clan life...with a glimpse of my week.

This photo showed up on my Face Book "memories".  FB did good again on this one. This is probably the last time the GeoLou Schmidts were all together.  We were visiting the Grand Canyon 3 years ago late Oct. We are not in age order....

Gram G has a new favorite Wednesday store....most items are half price...
It's only a mile up the street....

An economical 4 piece outdoor nativity set....bonus...they have attractive facial features...

Time to invest in a fresh supply of toddler toys!!  And a basket to store them.

It's been several years since I've entertained wee ones.. I am excited to have Miss Berklee (grand baby #19) and her folks from San Diego to come visit me in early December.

And in time Rosalie, great grand baby #1, will come to play as she and her folks live in Portland.

With 19 grand kids growing into young adults, I anticipate our family tree will explode into a magnificent, showy, fertile, enduring Evergreen..
(We lived on Evergreen Street for over 40 years.)

On Oct 17 Maud celebrated her golden B-day of 17 years.  But she didn't celebrate at home.  Her home is France. She is spending 3 weeks at the Millers for an exchange program.

French students,
Maud, Micaela, Cloe.
Cloe is also from France. Micaela will visit France in the spring and live with Maud's family for 3 weeks.

Looking for a career change?

How about some horsing around in southern Wisconsin?

Olivia has been in pony club for about 5 years.   She is doing great....

Olivia will be having her 12 year old trip with Gram G, hopefully next late summer.  Over the last several months I entertained the notion of taking a few riding lessons so I could ride with her. But reason tells me that would be too much horsing around for Gram G. Now if there is a Shetland pony willing to bear me we might be able to ride.....

This has been a good 7 "clan life" days in the life of Grandma G.

"But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night.  He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither.  Whatever he does prospers."  (Psalms 1:2-3)
