The Big Lou Report:
Lou was released from the hospital Friday evening to return to Burt and Jen's. The tests revealed nothing further wrong and Lou "wanted out of there". On Monday he is going to a different rehab facility for 20 days. He is agreeable. Deb and Jen toured the facility today and are elated with it. Lou will get continued rehab, especially for swallowing so he can be rid of the feeding tube. Report today was that he was more active and happy to have family company. Deb was NOT happy with the COLD temperature in the 50s...
Meanwhile here at home I am settling back in as I catch up on laundry, buy fresh groceries, buy and plant "green" plants (more on that later), sort 5 weeks of mail, figure out how to obtain a new mailbox key (other one got lost while I was gone), get a haircut and nails done, adjust to 90 degree temps, start stretching again, and "sleep in". AH....to be home once again.....

"Let the rivers clap their hands, let the mountains sing together for joy; let them sing before the Lord, for he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness and the peoples with equity." (Psalms 99: 8 & 9)
