That is the wet and wonder of the 11 bridges of the Willamette River. We didn't even enter the Columbia River. There are 3 bridges on the Columbia connecting Portland and Vancouver. Up until now I thought all the water around here was the Columbia. I am learning the geography of my region. I bet you thought it is all play for me and no study. Wrong.....

I am admitting this is Monday evening. All that exploring was last Thursday. Just to bring this blog up to date, the past days have been spent studying all this bridge stuff, working on a photo album of the Jude and Grandma G Indianapolis adventure, exercising, cooking a turkey (yep), cleaning up the kitchen, staying out of the heat, and today enduring a sick stomach....flu, I guess.
Keep coming back for more updates on Grandma G's recent adventures that have not been bragged--oops-- blogged yet. Ya all come back now, ya hear.

This has been a good 4 "recalling the Willamette" days in the life of Grandma G.
"The waters were divided and the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground, with a wall of water on their right and on their left." (Exodus 14: 21 & 22)
