SAN DIEGO/DAY 5/ WHALE OF A TALE

                 OR......TAIL OF A WHALE!
                        (and lots of waves)

Monday Bill took me whale watching as a B-day present---after a yummy Fillet Mignon Benedict at a favorite restaurant in Ocean Beach.
I thought I took a lot of whale and dolphin pictures but I must have been confused with my camera .  Oh My.  It was a VERY SWELL day.  Really.  The swells were very high and rough.  The boat guide said the ocean condition was just on the verge of canceling the excursion.  Fortunately, I am not bothered with motion sickness.  Bill, however, took some Dramamine.

Day 4 of San Diego was also great.  Bill came over and helped Gerry with the "fashion house" and fort.  Later in the evening we played a wild game of "Uno Robato".  That gets Grandma G's 5 stars of approval.
Day 6 was my last full day here in San Diego. I fly out at 9AM on Wednesday.  The day was spent getting ready to leave.  Gerry and Bill treated Mom to a dinner out at "The Beach House".  It was too chilly (even in San Diego) to eat outside viewing the beach.  Very delicious dinner!

This has been a good 3 San Diego days in the life of Grandma G.

"There is the sea, vast and spacious, teeming with creatures beyond number--living things both large and small.  There the ships go to and fro, and the leviathan, which you formed to frolic there."  (Psalms 104:25 & 26)
