San Diego/Day 2.....

Today is March first.  Out here (CA and PNW) spring is already in progress.  I have been waiting for winter to set in---and it hasn't.  Not in my experience of winter.  I did have a few days in winter over New Year's weekend when I traveled back to northern Wisconsin.  It is STILL winter there.

I accompanied Gerry to Jude's school for a session of "Artist Masters".  Gerry volunteers for this 4 times a school year.  A famous artist is introduced to the students, his life and art form explained and then the students do a project based on his style.

In the evening it was off to the Carlsbad outlet mall for me.  And later shoe shopping for Gemma and dad.

This has been a good second San Diego day in the life of Grandma G.

"See, the winter is past; the rains are over and gone.  Flowers appear on the earth, the season of singing has come, the cooing of doves is heard in our land."  (Song of Songs 2:11 & 12)
