Clean Out day....

Today was clean out day at Northwoods Music & Supplies.
It started  with a glimpse of an eagle soaring in clear blue skies.

I had a great work crew!

Al, Andy, Matthew, Chris
    Louie, Betty

We  moved several items and boxes to my house; Lou and Al hauled away cabinets and shelves I didn't want.  There are still some items in the store and I'll need to go there on Monday to finish sorting and cleaning.  One morning this week there will be no more Northwoods Music Store to go to.  Amen.

A couple local musicians came in for last minute deals.  I was thinking yesterday how we all like to buy cheap bargains.  It feels a little different when YOU are providing the cheap bargains.
I have no regrets for the past 5 years.  If I were younger and the weather more amiable I would probably stay and work to develop the store even more.

I relaxed the rest of the day--even enjoying a 2 hour nap before going for a 20 minute leisure walk.  That helped me realize we are already into June.  I met up with 2 older (literally) friends and chatted a bit.  Passing a lilac bush I observed several butterflies having a drink of nectar.  The wind was blowing so hard it was probably like hanging on in gale force winds for them.

There are buckets of projects that still need to be tended to before August 15---including a bucket list of what I want to do here before I leave.  But for today it was "sit in front of the TV".  I watched 2 episodes of Star Trek I hadn't seen before and the movie Enchanted, which is silly but cute.

This has been a good "clean out the music store" day in the life of Grandma G.

"Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.  They will soar on wings like eagles."
(Isaiah  40: 13)
