Did She or Didn't She? OR The Perfect Travel Day

The lady has a big, happy smile on her face.  Is it because she is in the Pacific Northwest?  Is it because she had a great B-day dinner in Portland?  Is it because she has just won the PCH big money?  Is it because she has no holes in her head?  Is it because she is scared silly?
Read the pictures!

Am I smiling?
She did it!  She did it!  Oh, yes, oh, yes, she did it!   6 weeks of wearing my B-day stone--amethyst.

Now Olivia (6) and Gemma (5) and Grandma G (?) all have their ears pierced in 2012.

Sunday was the perfect air travel day--except for getting up at 5AM.  Which was OK because it actually was 7AM. (In Wisconsin)  Deb and I had a no traffic ride to airport.  I got there with just enough time to comfortably get checked in and screened.  Had an aisle seat and no one in the middle.  (The fellow by the window was the one guy on the plane who coughed and blew his nose the whole trip, but I won't mention that.)  The flight was smooth and entertained by gogoinflight.  The sun was shining in Minneapolis, though cold. (When we left PDX the pilot said temperature in MSP was "chilly".)  Short stay in MPS.  Had a seat alone on the CWA transport.  Burt was right there to pick me up.  Stayed overnight with his family.  Drove home home Monday AM. (But you don't know that yet because this is the Sunday post.)  No snow on the roads or in the air anywhere.

Happy B-day to Deanna today!  She, Autumn and Eddy went to visit her folks for the weekend.

This was the perfect air travel day in the life of Grandma G.

"For great is your love, higher than the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies. Be exalted ,O God, above the heavens."
